Colnago Ace frameset

can you buy the Colnago as a frameset or is it only available as a complete bike?

You'd be paying a heck of a lot for the brand name on the downtube. Better frames available than that for the money unless you can find it silly cheap.

Only seen it as a complete bike. £1400 with mostly Shimano 105.

Although its accepted that the likes of Pinarello, Colnago and Bianchi charge a premium for the name, they are still quality frames and when they are on offer its a steal at that price.

OP - if you don't buy one of those two you need your head checking!

ETA - I'd be inclined to buy the CAAD, sell the wheels on ebay, and put £300 or so into new wheels and tyres. Or get Westbrook to upgrade them for you.
