Cycle Computer Recommendations?

Don't know it it's the "done thing" and frankly don't care. Please have that discussion on another thread. So lets assume I am a geek and want one... the question is which?

I like the look of the VDO A8 and also the VDO X1, but just based on looks really...

Anyway, I think I need
- Current speed
- Average speed for trip (and total ever).
- Max speed for trip (and total ever).
- Time for trip (and total ever).
- Distance for trip (and total ever).
- Water resist
- Backlight

Things I'm not sure on
- Cadence?
- Wireless?
- Ability to work with two bikes? (In case I get another in future)
- Service intervals?

Things I don't need
- GPS (too pricey)
- Altimeter (likewise)
- Heart rate (same)
- PC link

What do you guys think? Limit is about £50ish really. (Limit, not target!! haha!)

Wireless is surprisingly nice as you lose the unaesthetic/fiddly wiring on the front end. I have a couple of these (Cateye Micro Wireless) and find them pretty good.

That's about the cheapest I can see for wireless cadence. No option for multi bike profiles though.
