I did a quick search but the random thead generator that is know as the search button didn't throw anything back.

I'm after a Bike computer for my newly purchased Rockhopper, just need speed/time/distance covered really. Don't want me thats going to break after a month so any recommendations?

Also after sme lights - so where is the best website/shop for these parts? From recommendation.

Do you have a budget in mind? I'm a big fan of the Garmin Edge 500, i had one and sold it to buy an Edge 800 because I wanted the off-road maps, but found the screen of the 500 to be much easier to read as a result of not having the touch screen layer.
as far as the lights, where are you intending to ride? are they for illuminating off-road trails in the dead of night with cloud cover, or are they for being seen at dusk on road?

Lights are just for markers and riding hoe in the night time, no trail riding or anything like that at night...

Computer, it's nothing special just to give me basic info.

i have one of these, does pretty much everything you need it to do. avg speed, current speed, max speed, total distance, trip distance and a clock. waterproof etc etc configurable for mtb and road wheels as and when you want

I can recommend either of the following. I have one of them (the first set) and it is great. I think they may also be available via an ebay seller for even less - can't remember, but mine came from dealextreme and there have been a few threads on here recommending them.

And now found this ebay link but I have no way of knowing if it's actually the same item or a cheap knock off - check out the feedback of others who've bought it.
