Iron Maiden BBC4

As per the title, a couple of progs about Iron maiden. First shown Friday night, but being repeated tonight, Sunday, on BBC4 starting just after midnight.

I saw it on Friday night. Very good it was too. Steve Harris comes up with an absolute (Spinal Tappish) corker RE his birthday.

I recorded both docs. I have never been a huge Maiden fan mainly because I've never heard much of them but the behind the scenes documentary was just fascinating and the concert was entertaining although I'm still not sure it's something I would want to listen to in the car - for instance.

The funny thing is, my 10 year old son, who normally listens to crappy pop like Bruno Mars and similar (mainly thanks to his older sister's and my wife's appalling music taste) has watched both docs about three times and has just come downstairs and put them both on again. Anything that broadens his taste in music has to be good.
