Chicago - for four nights
Discussion
Just tooling about with this at the moment.....
The Who are currently setting up a North American tour with a date in Chicago at the end of November. I have seen flights (Virgin) for three of us for £1376 return and can probably get the concert tickets. So I guess I am asking a couple of questions:
Hotel... Need a comfortable and clean nothing fancy (good value and comfortable) 'base' fairly central I would guess. Two adults and an 8 y.o. mad Wholigan!! Definitely not the Waldorf Astoria!!!
Are we mad? It would be a lovely treat for my wife who has had a difficult year and lovely surprise for my son. I was thinking over on the Thursday (29th) and back Monday (3rd)
Thoughts, opinions and any advice recommendations welcome.

A few years back, we stayed here http://www.millenniumhotels.com/millenniumchicago/ great location. Took in an ice hockey match and visited the Goose Island brewery. The natural history museum is superb and you can ride the 'El' for hours, just taking in the city and people. Really liked the place.
