Schwarz Metallic..never heard of it and its my car!

[bull996]

Just found out that my cars colour is L744, schwarz metallic (black)

Never heard of this before, Mike at Sports A
and Classic pointed out that it wasnt a "normal" black.

Anyone else heard of it, or was it a special order?

Standard metallic black, pre-dates metallic basalt black. We had a 1998 996 (now Ian58's car) and that's metallic black, looks pretty normal as blacks go.

Schwarz means black in German.

Selective quoting is a dangerous game.
