Capri (Italy) - anybody been?
Discussion
Hi there!
These are some things I would certainly pick out and do for a trip to Capri.

Great place. Took a day trip there a few years ago from the Amalfi coast, where we were staying.
Best tip (although it will sound both odd, and vague); off the corner of the main square is a tiny metal spiral staircase, in white. At the bottom of that is a factory that makes mozzarella. The best mozzarella you are ever likely to taste. They are very happy to show you 'round, and let you taste their products ... in large quantities. I seem to recall that the chap who showed us around was called Roberto, and I think he's the owner, or part of the family that owns it (my Italian is as good as his English!) Very welcoming, very hospitable.
Oh, and get off the main streets to the smaller, residential streets (/paths) higher up the hillside. There is one awesome pizzeria up there. Find someone with a pizza box sometime in the evening and ask where they bought it - it's seriously good.
Oli.

You must go to Anacapri and get on the chair lift to the top of the mountain. You get the most beautiful views of the bay of Naples and it's so peaceful.
I went there; joined a huge line for tickets for the chair lift, took 30 mins to get to the ticket booth only to be told the lift has been closed for maintenance the last two weeks
