996 tt hood release switch refitting

How do i remove the hood release switch and panel from my 996tt the button has fallen out of position

In the side of the plastic sill cover there are two plugs. Remove the plugs and insert an allen key in the hole and undo two cap screws. You only need to loosen the screws not fully unwind them and then pry the plastic trim cover up from the corners.
