Porsche Driving Experience Silverstone - thumbs up

[Clevers]

I am sure this has been posted before, but for the benefit of those who haven't got round to it yet, the Porsche Driving Experience at Silverstone is a thoroughly great day out.

I did a half day session in the 997 GT3 and it was a really good introduction to the car with fantastic tuition that was both intelligent and encouraging (thanks to Allan).

You really do get to explore the handling of the car on the various test tracks and my mediocre driving skills were improved at the end of day. A few celebs there as well for the kids to get autographs.

Is that Alan - youngish with slightly spiky brown hair? Good guy

Yes, that is the man. He was a really good instructor. Recommend him.

Yeah, Alan is the guy who gave me the test drive at OPC Reading, really nice friendly guy. I wish I had him assigned to me when I did my Porsche day last week.
