Last time I looked under the bonnet these 2 bolts were one.



I think I just might have a snapped bonnet hinge bolt.

Now can anyone remember what diameter studding came with Normam's stainless hinge pack?

M12 / 19mm nut ?


if it's M10 it'll be 17mm

This is what you need for a full set of two hinges

• Heads cut off two of the set screws BTW this seems to be the first time any of the bolts failed

I think PompeyTim had one fail on the SClub EuroTour of Scotland last year and replaced with normal steel - I'm assuming stainless is a bit too brittle?
