Turkey lira or euro?

Going to Turkey at end of august and from being their previously I think most places accepted euros as well as turkish lira, now in light of the recent decline of the euro what do you recon will be best to take as spends in terms of value for money? Lira or Euros?

They take pretty much anything over there but we always use Lira.

You can get pretty good exchange rates there for Sterling and Dollars though I understand.

Everything is a lot cheaper in lira
