RSJ - deal experiences?
Discussion
In my experience its best to offer only as much as you are willing to pay, and not a penny more.
I think its also widely known that dealers are in business to make as much profit as they possibly can.
This equates to you telling them how much you have to spend and them deciding if there is enough profit in the deal.
It's not as flippant as it might seem at first glance.

hey buddy - all it said was basically can a deal be done with RSJ? They have seen a car that they liked but you were unwilling to budge on the price - they simply asked "do they normally move on prices" and thats about it - nothing defamatory or negative whatsoever - the OP was just asking for experiences.
I also think that the OP deleted his/her/its own original post - nothing to do with the PH forum-police either.

Hi Joel
I see that you've seen the thread I started. Just wanted to let you know that I deleted my original post as I realised it was a stupid question that I posed. I asked PH if it was typical that RSJ did not negotiate on asking price. I realised that this was a silly question if a car is well priced to begin with - hence I deleted my post.

Sorry i misread the deletion in that case.
I thought PH did it.
Not much of a summer this year David so i have knocked it down to £22000 a few days ago.
Its cheap , dont miss it....
Sometimes cars are cheap enough that you wont get a pound off , that can be the case at most places with at least a few of their cars....
