Hi all,

A bit of help if possible?

I am looking to take a group of friends (ten) away for a weekend on the first weekend in Dec this year..

Ideally I would like to hire a cottage, hopefully with a hot tub etc from friday through til the Sunday. I have used hoseasons before, but they don't appear to have anything local for a group that large..

we are in the west mids, and would travel, although realistically not more than an hour max...

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Disclaimer: before the guys from the lounge get in on this, there is no pampas grass or car keys in the pot type shenanigans smile

Have a look on the 'Welcomecottages' web site, they have properties that can accommodate 10+ for weekend breaks.

We do a similar thing each December; a group of friends get together by renting a large property Friday until Monday, though some leave on a Sunday night ‘cause of work commitments.

I would have suggested center parcs but if you want the luxury accommoation it is expensive. Plus you would need 2 chalets, I think its 8 max.
However you can spend hours in the pool, gauge yourself in the Pancake House, work off the hangover cycling and then go bowling, tennis, pool, snooker, driving range etc...
Wxpensive but IMO a great destination for all ages.

Otherwise try ownersdirect.co.uk, found this to be pretty cheap in the past.
