8 p.m. there, 8% humidity and 42C.
Anywhere with air conditioning, then.

NIce people and interesting place for a day sort of place and that's about it really.
There's an interesting Schooner mock-up type restaurant / hotel behind the SAS Raddisson just south of the City worth a look.
I was told that there's a bar / pub at the British Embassy that's open to Brits but cannot confirm this.

To add to your woes Ramadan starts on 21st July so no eating, drinking or smoking in public during daylight hours.
I'm leaving on 20th so just before Ramadan. Just curious, does that mean that you can't get food/lunch in restaurants/hotels during Ramadan (my assumption is you can't)?You will definitely be able to get food/drink from room service. It's a long time since I was in Kuwait during Ramadan but some of the higher end hotels used to have a restaurant that was screened off from the general public where you could get food during the day.
It is more of a pain if out for meetings during the day, the weather this time of year is hot, really hot. I would not be suprised to see temperatures approaching 50C in Kuwait, although the humidity may not be as bad as here in the UAE.
I would suggest stashing a couple of bottles of water in your laptop bag/briefcase and nipping to the loo for a drink every now and then.
