Gatwick hotel with 8 days parking?
Discussion
We have used the Hilton at the (South) terminal. Handy for early morning starts as it is a walk to departures and not a shuttle bus.
They do deals which include parking and if you stay an extra day (e.g. 8 not 7) then you just pay for 1 more day of parking. It is directly opposite the long stay so you drop off your car and hop to the terminal and into the hotel.
No pool but a nice enough hotel..

I tend to always use the Holiday Inn there - good hotel, decent rooms (tend to get an exec one) and parking is secure. Shuttle bus to the airport. If flying with Virgin tend to do twilight check in to dump the suitcases and just have hand luggage on the bus then. http://www.holidayinn.com/hotels/us/en/gatwick/lgw...

Yep, did that last time. It was OK enough. They do deals which include parking and if you stay an extra day (e.g. 8 not 7) then you just pay for 1 more day of parking. It is directly opposite the long stay so you drop off your car and hop to the terminal and into the hotel.

+1I've used them 3 times now, and have also stayed at the Sofitel on site at Gatwick, and the Crowne Plaza just off site.
Crowne Plaza was worst - tiny room, shuttle bus took an age going round loads of hotels seemingly miles apart.
Sofitel is hugely convenient as you just walk over the road to the terminal, but very expensive to stay and to eat on site.
Holiday Inn is the best compromise of cost, acceptable rooms and convenience. The only downside is you have to leave your car keys with them and your car is moved. Never had any problems though.
sue and I have been using these guys for years now, very good service, drop the car off they take you to the airport or hotel, then have the car outside the arrivals terminal when you return, nice and easy and not that expensive either.
