Holiday entitlement when leaving

Hi all,

Ok, for simplicity here is the scenario.

Lets say my holiday year begins in January.

I get 203 hours of holiday per year.

If I leave the company in June (by my own accord) what happens if at that point i hant taken any holidays? Do i loose them. Do i get cash in leiu?

you get cash in lieu of leave. If you're half way through the year when you leave you'll get half the leave. If you have used more holiday than you are entitled to then they may take cash off you.

I was worried that i wuld ust lose the entitlement, in whch case i was planning t take as many as i could.

I am going to check with HR when I can, but wanted to know what the general consensus was.

Some companies will insist you use the holiday time up, i am leaving my job in 4 weeks, my boss will pay up any unused holidays as he then gets more time from me to train my replacement.
