Hotel needed for anniversary

Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent hotel suitable for an anniversary visit around the Lakes/North or East Yorkshire, would like some where with a decent restaurant and within a price range up to £300 or though if cheaper would try for 2 nights.

If You can stretch to Northumbria then look at Langley Castle.

10PS and I had a lovely time there last year - the Radcliffe Room is stunning, double sunken bath, it's own sauna.. Romantic as hell

It's on the pricey side however.. From memory £275 a night (for that room, there are others cheaper but if you really do want to stay in the castle keep) plus dinner, which is top notch, on top.
