Don't mention it. Anything I can do to keep a fellow PH thinking about motors is a pleasure.

I do exactly the same things with video clips as they're a bugger to find

I hope the seat is set for someone your height/size. The pain of not being able to drive the thing is almost as bad as the physical pain of not fitting.

Check list:

1. Video camera
2. Camera
3. Someone to film/photo you sampling a piece of history
4. Site to upload your exploits

Well i went and had a look at the F40. Its a bit sick at the moment as the fuel pump is playing up. couldnt get any better shots at the time and only taken with my phone.
When i get to take it out i will make sure its all polished and looking its best.
This is the first F40 ive seen and i must say they aren t as smooth as you may think. This is an ex race car and the finish isnt that impressive. The interior looks a bit, dare i say it, 'kit like'. Ferrari them selves have been in contact with my friend and apparantly not happy at all that a race car is on the road but hey ho.
Any way, will video and take better snaps next time im there.

Weren't there over a 1000 F40's made?? According to the register theres only 180 or so.

Original run was 400 I think? but due to demand they made loads more. Where are all these on the register??

They ended up making well over 1,700 in the end making it a bit common

Unfortunately I think a few of them have met with an untimely demise.

There is a very nice example for sale in Dick Lovett's in Cardiff for a fiver shy of £200K and yes you dont get much in the way of creature comforts for that money.

Ohhh that's top dollar. I thought they were around £140K - £170K
