Ok, where can I get a titanium crankshaft and con rods from for the T2. Some quick math’s this afternoon suggested that this might be a cunning mod. Although not necessarily a cost efficient one

Oh, and on the weight front ditch your breaks in favour of Big (very) Yellows, ummm more carbon (see pelican parts).

Dom's mates’ car has given me unnatural ideas

The plan....

1 Bar ~ 390Bhp (£350)
and Hybrid turbo/C2 cams ~450Bhp (£3500+/-)
and Titanium CR/CS ~480Bhp (5-10K??????)

And for a laugh some 14inch wheels 0-40 MPH 0.5 sec's, top speed 42 MPH

Titanium crankshaft huh?!
Why don't you buy another car, it might prove less expensive!

(if ever you want a LHD 965 3.6, I know someone who is selling his )

U/V,
If you are serious!? about Titanium crank etc. you could try Bob Watson Engineering:-www.performancecars.gb.com they are Turbo experts. Also G-Force Motorsport www.g-force-motorsport.co.uk

Although I think Thom is probably right it would be cheaper to buy a new car!
Think you've got a serious problem/illness U/V!!

I think you'll be suprised how much 480+ BHP cars cost (good ones anyway). If the entire job costs £20K I think that is still pretty good value

Sounds like a good idea, but ONLY if your going to keep the car for quite a while. You don't want to loose a fortune in resale.

I've been going through the options on mine, and the delivery's not even in sight yet! The figures suggest it will be as quick as the turbo 996.

Do it yourself with one of those legal kits you can get in WHSmiths. Then spend what you save on titanium conrods

Hope she doesn't ask for half the car...

If she does come after the car she can have the 0-3000RPM half, i.e. the off boost half.....

Cheers guys, it's amazing to find out how little you are worth once an expensive lawyer has rearranged your finances

Can you not sit down and come to a settlement between you? It worked for my g/f previously. Will save you a packet if you can.

It's amicable at the moment but i'm not taking any chances. I have just bought a car and a second house in Spain. On top of that my projected earnings have, err, sky-rocketed. A friend of mine (he and she earning similar money) ended up paying 30% disposable income and 50% of his bonus for 3 years. If that happened to me I would stop working

I have enough dirt on her for it to be in her interest not to piss me off, but we all know how logical women can be…

U/V, following up the previous point, if you can sort it between you it will save you a fortune. I was initially using a solicitor in Chancery lane at £500 per hour and got more sorted by the 2 of us sitting down and talking it out over a coiple of months.
If you have got children, then that way is definetley in your interest, even though he CSA rulings have now changed.
Lots of stuff you can do to help minimise the burden.
Saying that, it cost me 2 houses, in excess of £400K and large some each month!!

Still, got a new house and lovely 22 year old blonde on my arm, so it ain't all bad!!

As b4, anything you want to know please feel free to ask.

Cheers

PAC thanks for the advice. Things are OK at the moment and we are working out our shit between us. However, my sudden financial downsizing is just a precaution.

I am now also in the market for a Blond or two....
