I think mine has old Escort ones which look fine (check with GeraldTVR) but they don't quite adjust enough for me to be able to see what's behind me (I'm quite tall!). I rather like the S3 mirrors (Citroen, aren't they?).
The MX-5 ones are pretty good though - you can get electric ones cheaply too.

This one was at Spa and the owner is on here and I'm sure he'll have a better photo. I think he said they were off a Mitsubishi. An alternative to the Mazda ones.

Tis me, they are off of a Mitsubishi Carisma, they are electric but I`ve not wired them in yet as I needed the car for the Spa trip. The mirrors are larger than most and give a really good rear view. The mounts needed a bit of filing to get the angle correct.Hope this shows up well.
The ones on the other blue "S" to the right look like Mazda ones, so there a comparison for you.
Hi Steve - I thought you'd have changed your PH name to "Waterpump" by now
By the way OP. If you do change your mirrors keep them safe. They are very hard to find now and you may want them again some day.

London Taxi but thy were there ones offered by TVR as optional extras 'cos they are electrically adjustable. I did have them wired up as I was the soe driver and I didnt want extra electrics which wernt strictly necessary. They can altered and I suggest you speak to Adrian Venn adrian@ Exactly TVR Coventry as he fitted them for meNorman
