They wanted 1100 quid for me, Mannings want about 730.... (25, 5 yrs NCD, no accidents in last 3 yrs, plus no points and a 4.0 Chimaera )..

I've been with them a few years, this year I have organised my S1 insurance through them - no problems to report (and they were the cheapest for my low annual mileage/second car quote...)

I was with them for 2 years. Dunno how good they are as I never had to claim. This year I went with adrian flux. £100 cheaper

Peart are terrible for track days. When we were running maxtrack they wouldn't cover people on our days despite the fact we were actually following standards at least (if not higher) than the TVRCC days they claimed to support. I've heard bad things from other people too.

I was with them for several years until the mid-90's when they suddenly decided to increase my premium through the roof. I imagine that it was the old story of a broker who thought they could make a fast buck, got their fingers burnt on a big claim and bailed out.

My wife used Peart to insure her Vixen, which she then wrote off into the back of a gas lorry. They paid up good market value and next year gave her a "careful lady driver" discount !!!!! I thought that was pretty good .

Funny all this isn't it? I was with Mannings for my Griff last year. When their renewal notice came through it was up by about 100 quid. So I rang round and Pearts could actually beat Mannings previous years price, let alone their renewal quote. I rang Mannings expecying them to match Pearts to retain my busines sbut they said no. So Pearts got the business. Rich...

Well I use Cheam Brokers to sort out the insurance on everything I own...and they are brilliant (though I have never had an accident of any sort so dont know what they'd be like at sorting that out). They consistently beat everyone elses premium, are helpful, always keep you covered (like whe I forgot to renew the insurance on one of my cars), allow me to get full cover on courtesy cars etc for nothing and are generally great. Latest use was yesterday in getting my new elise insured....Phoned 6 companies first, including Adrian Flux (who seem really good too) and got quotes of £1450 through to £857 (Flux). Phoned Cheam who said 'give us till tomorrow morning'. Called me back with £760 (includes full protected no claims). I was impressed!
