Alcohol & Drinks Suppliers

Hi,

I have the task of purchasing alcohol for an event for 350 people.

A mixture of wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks.

I also want to provide a couple of beer kegs for pulling pints.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a suitable supplier before I do the obvious and look at Costco or Booker.

Where abouts are you?

Majestic aren't bad for the wine - speak to the manager and there's always a deal to be done, and no worries about sale or return either.

Have a google for a local independent wholesaler near you, or speak to a local free house pub for the beers if they do outside bars, as to do draught lager & cider you'll need a flash cooler, gas bottles, dispense font tap etc, don't just buy the keg from Bookers...

Bitter is easy, just vent the top of the barrel & bang a tap into it & let it settle unmoved for at least 18-24 hours before it's needed.

Hope that helps & always remember you CANNOT have too much ice!

If you are in London, you will want to use Eskimo Ice. Many cocktail bars and quality events companies use them, and if you are buying in bulk, its good value. As has been said- youcant have too much ice!
