Just back from driving my 04 Cayenne Turbo through Snowdonia...in driving rain and full sun and, despite people thinking it was beaten with the ugly stick at birth, what a car! Does it all really, effortless cruising, quick kickdown and great dollops of torque allow easy overtaking and, with my car having a sports exhaust, it sounds like thunder when 'pressing on' For the sheer size of the car it just should not be able to drive as it does, excellent really!
Just thought i would mention it....(sod the fuel)

I drove a customers Cayenne Turbo S which had been remaped and it sure is one impressive motor. I can see why people rave about them.

Have to agree, just got in the last few months a 04 Porsche Cayenne Turbo( 1 owner from new an 32k miles)
What an absolutely awesome machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are cheap as chips to buy( for what they are) so I can still keep the 911. :-))

Don't blame you... sounds great. How many gallons per mile do you get, out of interest?

I occasionally think about buying one for family duties and then come to my senses ie a Turbo Cayenne is a bit OTT for ferrying toddlers and kit around. The idea of combining a serious sportscar with an SUV just doesn't work for me.
