Sony RX 100

Well, they keep coming thick and fast. I have long wanted a very good quality ultra pocketable compact. I thought I'd finally found the solution in the Canon S100, but then the Sony RX100 pitches up. Faster lens (Carl Zeiss too) and more to the point a much bigger sensor.

Anyone else contemplating a high end compact?

The sony looks good, chunkier than the s100 but only in depth, still pocketable. And it takes a lot for me to say that!

Wonder if the next s100 will have the g1x sensor...

They keep getting better. I don't think you'd be disappointed with any of the forthcoming big sensor minis.
