spec me a turbo trainer please . . .

looking for a simple (non-electronic/pc) turbo-trainer that can accommodate a track bike (120mm spacing) and has silky smooth operation and variable resistance - mine is officially buggered!

I bought one of these, no bells and whistles but does the job very well.

Cannot swear by the axle size but it has a huge adjustment so would be amazed if it cannot accomodate 120mm

Kurt Kinetic Road Machine or Cycleops Fluid 2. Had them both, and both brilliant at what they do. Much better than anything else I tried with magnetic resistance.
