So I find myself up in Aberdeen for the next 4 nights.

Any recommendations of places to go, maybe watch the rest of the euro 2012 1/4 finals. Recommendations for places to eat, especially a sole bloke on his jack jones. Decent bars etc. it's been nearly 15 years since I was last there for any length of time.

Ta in advance.

Cheers Eric! Didn't see that one on my search.

Paul et al - sadly, I have no choice but to be up here. Some great car porn though - there's a white Maclaren in the car park opposite and a nice vantage pulled up outside this afternoon.

I believe Eric has also embarked on an "Aberdeen's forgotten gems" pub guide.

Following that should garner you an entertaining couple of weeks.

Possibly in casualty

Most are long gone now though. Even Ma Cameron's has managed to ps off the few of us old regulars that are still around. The only one's I infrequently visit are Under the Hammer and No 10. Both of which are newcomers and ones an Old Gordonians haunt!.

We've a few up the road at AGSFP's too. Never could see the point of that "sport".
