Knockhill Track Evening- 16/07/12
Discussion
Family and I are coming up to take a look - no driving. Was quoted £300 insurance for a track day and that was the Beemer! Wife used to race XR2s here and take her pop's various 911s round here. She fancies a wee gander again and kids love cars as well so a no brainer. Weather permitting!
Johnny I think I waved at you as you were leaving I was in the blue 996 turbo.
What a hoot that was busy as hell though.
I think I broke something towards the end of the evening tho

Just back myself but I wasn't in my 996TT, in my little xr2 testing for next race this weekend.
As I said in other thread by tezza77 was very busy but good standard of driving however boy in the Evo who lost a wheel owes me a pint, my rotor arm went Pete tong so I tried to get back to centre slip road an failed......just..... So I was parked in a daft spot which meant the red flag, I think a few corners slowing down he went 1 way and his wheel went the other! My mates were behind in the lime green corrado an couldn't believe it as it coukd be bad if he was on it an not slowing down for my red flag! Hope it wasn't much damage for the guy!
Johnny your 993 was stunning, made me wish I held out longer to buy a 993 than play it safe with a 996!
Cheers

Hiya, yeah, shame we never got a chat, weather was brilliant, really makes a difference.
Hope it's nothing serious with your car, I know how easy it is to get mahoosive bills when things go wrong in a 911 turbo!!!
Heh I was too busy driving... if thats what you want to call it Hope it's nothing serious with your car, I know how easy it is to get mahoosive bills when things go wrong in a 911 turbo!!!

Hopefully nothing major, as I said elsewhere, it drove home fine so maybe not too bad.
I noticed quite a few people taking pics, where do these normally get posted?
