this was the mails headline a few days ago i cannot see how it is news did anyone imagine any food or anything in mags is not touched up ffs?!?

Obviously only DM readers would think that which is why they had to spell it out to them.

I take my hat off to some of the peeps on the "photo of your dinner" thread who can cook nice food AND take nice photos of it. As seen in the vid, food photography is not easy and its time consuming, which is not what you want when you are trying to serve a hot dinner.

I love photography but am useless at it. Really struggle to get some good photos of food for web and trip advisor etc

Anyone know of any decent websites or books. Done the usual trawl but all a bit of a loss.

They have actually been 'told off' for using photos that bore little similarity to the true article.

Have you contacted a couple of the good peeps on the "photo of your dinner" thread? They must be pro togs.

I think its daft to try and have a go about the food not looking like the pictures. As said, only the thick DM people won't understand why its done. Couldn't care less if the cheese wasn't bright yellow, or if the burger wasn't the same colour, as long as it tastes good then thats fine.
