Pro cameras use ssd's as memory cards.
Fairly small for such large capacities, extremely fast data transfer for large mp photos at high frame rates.
Easier to handle than compact flash or sd cards. no need for memory card readers, just plug in power and data and read at full sata rate.
Would need the larger pro bodies to make it viable to fit.

Build in wifi, image straight to any storage you want.
OK so we already have Eye-fi cards and are halfway there, but professionals will first and foremost want an image straight to destination for publication on web (or good old fashioned paper) or need it on a computer to be processed.
We already have LAN (D4) or HDMI (D800) as examples of recognising the output needs to be somewhere else.
