I know you get what you pay for in life, but i want to get the bonnet resprayed on the Jag as the paint is badly cracked and really lets the car down, but as the car is only worth about £1500 i don't want to spend a fortune on it.

Can anybody recommend any good honest bodyshops for me that will do the job at a reasonable cost?

I have looked for bonnets on ebay etc in the same colour code but there are none around unfortunately. Are there any good local scrapyards that might be worth a look around? I am new to the area so don't have much local knowledge. I live in Biggleswade.

Thanks in advance,

Cyder

Not quite in Beds, but easier to get to than most places for you.

I hear Finishline in Graveley (Baldock - Stevenage road) are well recommended, although I've never taken a car there.

Once you're onto the A1 south at Biggleswade, Finishline is about 10-15 mins by car.

Not local, but Eurojag in Darlington are excellent for breaking, and very good on service & price.

I have used them several times, and they are very pro when it comes to sending large items, panels etc.

Just spoken to Chris at Finishline and what a great help! Once i get a half decent spare bonnet I will definately be popping down there. Really nice to speak to somewhere that sounds like they know what they are doing as well as giving a good quote. Will probably be a few weeks until I can organise something but i will post back here with updates.

Thanks for you help,
