It's been a bit moribund recently having moved to a "Buy it Now" market rather than auction excitement ...

... but if anyone is in the market for an interestingly priced ('refurb') 600D with kit lens offer you should look right now. (I think ...)

The only Canon seller I used on eBay was Ian Kerso from Scotland. Great prices, excellent service, no messing around.

Canon_Outlet is the eBay shop.

Hope you found it if interested - they have now sold all 5 on offer in that batch - the last 3 since I posted above.

Maybe there will be more at some point ... I assume they are shifting stock levels a little with the 650D coming in.

Some of those prices are a bit crap (around 10% off) considering they're all refurbs....but then you see a 7D body for £750! eek 5D mkII for £1250 also looks like decent value.

They are a little variable in terms of vfm prices. On the other hand when they used the auction model (rarely a buy it now offer) you could get some excellent bargains but most people seemed happy to overbid often bidding up to and sometimes beyond High Street prices.

7D prices on eBay are all over the place at the moment for 'bought this and hardly used it' offers.

The 600D price was attractive given that it is with the 18-55 MkII IS lens and comes with 12 months Canon warranty. My past experiences with purchases from the store have all been positive. So far as I can tell the goods have been unused but the packaging less than pristine. (A 580 EX II flash last year have a very heavy layer of dust on the box for example - but the unit was perfect and the dust wiped off ...)
