Some kind of phone kit? Is the big word in the middle "Bluetooth"?

Obviously, it is not factory.

That car certainly makes me feel good about having just bought a similar vehicle for £1,000!

Actually, it is the New Webasto Parking Heater with Remote Control ("Webasto Standheizung mit Funkfernbedienung Neu"). That isn't factory either, but is damned useful to have. See here: http://www.parkingheater.co.uk/products/controls/c...

What? £1,000 is expensive? or E9,999? These cars are much more expensive on the continent and I suspect that even here a car as good as that would be hawked at £10k. Ironside recently sold a fully loaded E300 D T-Model with 180,000miles at an asking price of £9k. Mind, it had everything except leather.

Webasto is listed in the advert detail. Lovely example. No seven seat option though.

Well some peoples eyes are better than mine (beergoggles last night)I did suspect some sort of aftermarket engine preheat,as for price the German market certainly values these old Mercs highly.Any well kept W123/4/6/ can easily command a 5figure value, how about a W124 300TE 4matic for €25k seen recently. At the other end as to be expected on home turf plenty of SOTW material ,ex taxi '89 300D with 700.000km for shed money, plenty of W201's for any budget too.
