Spotted: McLaren MP4-12C
Discussion
Apparently there was an orange McLaren MP4-12C spotted at the main gate at RAF Leuchars on tuesday afternoon. A few boys from work were telling me about it. One lad said it stopped to let him cross the zebra crossing.
And this happened about 5 minutes before I left the gate, so I just missed it. I am totally gutted, as seeing one would have made my life!
Does anybody know anything of this car locally?

I see.
Thanks for the image, from that I can guess that what drove through Leuchars would have been McLaren Orange, as they kept talking about how orange it was!
I'm really looking forward to seeing it at Knockhill tomorrow! Will you be there?
I won't be but the Volcano Orange one should be unless plans have changed since Wednesday Thanks for the image, from that I can guess that what drove through Leuchars would have been McLaren Orange, as they kept talking about how orange it was!

Hopefully it will be sunny so that you can see it at it's best. There will also be a rather bright green Superleggera!s6ggo said:
Hopefully the plans have not changed, and although the weather forecast is not looking good I do hope the sun comes out.
Speaking of a bright green Superlegerra, I spotted one of them myself driving between St Andrews and Leuchars, it looked amazing!
When did you see the SL? I know of two bright green ones in Scotland - a Glaswegian car and a Aberdonian car. One has yellow calipers and the other has grey. I think it was about 6-8 weeks ago I seen it, but I was driving and it was going the opposite way so didn't spot the calipers. I'd love to see one up close.Edited by cc8s on Friday 15th June 20:28
Out of interest, how do you know of all of these cars in Scotland? If you don't mind me asking of course.

I just happen to know two of the owners of those cars.St. Anger said:
I would do, however, as my car is a BMW X3 I'm not sure I'd be welcome! The Canary Wharf show sounds amazing, I may have to look at going one year.
I saw the MP4-12C today at Knockhill, it was beautiful. And the Superleggera was amazing too.
