997 11J wheels on a 996

Hi,
I am keen to replace the rear rims (10J) on my Porsche 996 C2 (2003), with the 997 turbo (11J) wheels. However I am concerned that the 11J's might be too wide and cause a problem. I do not have a widebody kit. Has anyone had the experience of doing this? Can it be done?
