Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy overpriced for a GEN 1!!!!!!

I don't care if it's gold plated, no one should pay £70k for that!

I'd never buy a car that was as butchered up as this one, let alone pay a premium for it

[quote]The car has undergone a conversion transforming the Carrera 4S in to a 911 GT3 RS look-a-like (911 GT3 RS Recreation), something that Porsche said was simply not possible. We proved them wrong!

Not so much as not possible as not necessary.....

I saw this last night and just couldnt get my head around it. Why??!! indeed.

May be worth about half of what they are asking, but even then, I'd prefer to have a standard 4S.

Could be a young guy having trouble getting insured on actual GT3. Used to see this often at uni.

Fecking hell! When I was at uni I had a bicycle and the rich kids had clapped out Mk3 Cortinas. Are you telling me students are tooling around in GT3 replicas these days?

No of course not, just the usual sons of dictators and so;)

I believe the Aga Khan in the 60's was delivered the second 300sl in the UK to his class at Oxford.

You'd be surprised what some of the Arab students have at their disposal.

Pretty sure I saw that at the 2011 Oulton Park RS track day - was intrigued by it then.

£70k though - really?

Does the number plate come with the sale?

Its probably worth a few bob and would suit your car perfectly!

Probably a C4S which has been smashed up and repaired in this way. Can't think of any other reason why someone would create such as thing.

Ridiculous. I'd give them £500 for the numberplate.
