At last software down loaded, for anybody else that wants to down load you need winrar programme
Winrar is one of the first things i install on a computer..so you have the cable and the software, now you just need to plug it into your laptop and your away...
If you do not have a com port on your laptop, then you need to buy a usb/serial adapter, it works better with older models of windows, i.e XP, not compatible with Windows 7.

Thanks for advice, using old laptop which runs xp and has a com port, now to see if lambda sensor is faulty, I assume if I plug in a just look at display I can't do any damage
Are you using the Noble software... If so then nope you cannot do any damage assuming you have the cable with the resistors..Plumber1 said:

No damage, seach for the correct com port when itys plugged in, if the lambdas are working you will see the line going up and down, this means that they are making corrections.
Out of interest have you ever messed with the throttle position?

No never messed with throttle position, should I
Right hand lambda on screen, flat lined, so needs new lambda, (is this the one after the cat)or has there been any issues with cable connections,
To replace lambda can I just take out and put new one in,
Nope do not mess with throttle position... why would you if the car does not stall and idles...

Yes just plug in the new one and away you go... obv check it works ...
As steve confirmed do not mess with the throttle position.. if you look on screen my car was ticking over at 750rpm, its because throttle position was wrong and therefore the tickover map was not working, this is a mistake i made, when i had faulty lambda i messed with the Throttle position then when i put new lambda, the car was still not ticking over properly due to me messing with the throttle position..which threw me off course as to what the problem was for a while..
