Summer holiday for two single guys. Not too chavvy

Looking for some advice. Me and my friend want to go away next month on a late deal. We want sun, good beaches, good for snorkelling, good night life but not too rowdy like Magaluf etc. we kinda want to avoid the 18-30s clubs. Don't want anythong too quiet though either.
Can anyone suggest some good places? We are thinking probably spain or turkey.

I went to Dubrovnik with a mate last year, had a good mix of touristy stuff to do during the day, decent enough (non chavvy) nightlife and great weather. Beers were cheap if you knew where to look too.

If I ever end up single again, thats where im going. It's not all lady boys and wes. The local normal ladies are friendly enough plus you have western tourists there too and I guess it would be good for snorkelling.

Went to Benidorm recently on a stag and it was a hive of scum and villany. Nearly everyone was overweight, loud and scottish. A friend shagged a girl who was already engaged but "no one stays faithful in Benidorm" apparently. Enjoyed it for a weekend tho!

Pattaya in Thailand is mental and well worth a visit at least once in your life when you're single. The diving is okay-not a patch on Egypt but acceptable nonetheless.

What about a Contiki trip? I did one in New Zealand a couple of years ago-3 weeks solid on the piss every single night. It took me 5 weeks to recover when I got home! They do trips all over the world (apart from Africa (I'm not including Egypt) ).
