Hi,
My name is David and i have just finished my first year at university.
I am now seeking temporary work over the summer.
I come from predominantly an automotive background, however i am willing to work in pretty much any environment.
If anyone knows of any work available i'd greatly appreciate it.
Many thanks, David.

My downstairs loo could do with a clean.
How does £5 sound?

Let me know.

I'm in the midlands. Is this going to be a problem?

Fruit picking should be 'picking' up this time of year I'd think. Must be some of that in Kent.

Try your local removal companies, many take on summer temp staff and once you get your foot in the door more likely than not they will be happy to repeat during your future summer breaks.

No student should be out of work this summer. Be prepared to sleep rough though...

Might be abit late but i recommend Marquee company's, I used to work for one whilst at uni and it was a great summer job.

Long hours but you get to work outside, keep healthy and drive about in vans all holiday.

In the same vein, try event bar work. I found some by talking to local recruitment agencies. Google is your friend.

One important thing to add. When you're applying for jobs, DON'T tell them you're going back to Uni in September. It can put some companies off, even if you're perfect for the job.

I would say 'unless they ask you'. Don't lie about it either.
