Norfolk little S runout 24.6.12
Discussion
Guys - If you live or will be an S owner in Norfolk on the 24th of June, how do you fancy a run that meets up in the Wymondham / Hingham area, down to thetford, off to ixworth, elmswell, then arrives at the Wheltenham Vintage Car Bike and Tractor Rally, Wheltenham Community Centre, Gt Wheltenham, BSE IP30 OTH?
I am sure we can have a fun run and stay and perhaps enjoy some sort of caravan created food - if not a pie and a soft drink - if you feel like it!
I will found out more details if enough are interested.
Steve

Hi guys...regret that I'll be unable to make the Welnetham Rally (knee surgery!),but it sounds like a good cross-country route down there.
Has anyone in our area thought of going to The Classics by the Lake meeting, in Bury St Edmunds, on 9th September?. It has to be pre-booked but draws in some terrific machinery, in pleasant surroundings. I entered my V8S last year and (needless to say) it was the only 'S'there and consequently created much interest throughout the day. Worth a thought maybe?.

Hi Steve,
I could be up for that (I know where Hingham is!)...maybe we could go via the Old Buckenham airshow on the same day (just a "fly past").
Note for those without a Norfolk/Suffolk passport, this is near Bury St Edmunds which is very handy for the A14 to get to the rest of the world.
...if I win the lottery tonight I will bring the 5 litre "S"

OK, Having looked at this and Andy's point that the Old Buck Airshow is the same day, I have to say I am inclined to say our final destination should be the Old Buck Airshow which pummels the other into submission big-time
If we act like the general public, then we can get there anytime up to 1.15 ish and not miss this good stuff flying over.
So how do you feel about meeting up at this place http://www.lynfordhallhotel.co.uk/ at say 11? Its readily accessible and easy to get to, serves drinks for early arrivers and its where they filmed allo allo would you believe and some of dads army I think. Its also close to some nice forest roads.
Lynford Hall Hotel,
Mundford, Nr Thetford,
Norfolk IP26 5HW
Tel: +44 (0)1842 878351
Old buck airshow is £20 if you book in advance for a car (up to 4 passengers) or you can pay on the day (this seems like a can you get 4 in an s challenge?)
So if you are up for it, feel free to book airshow access direct and Andy and I will see you at Lyndford Hall at 11.
Do let us know if you are coming - so we dont leave you behind. We'll sort a good route out to keep us busy for a couple of hours until the airshow.
Barclayboy, perhaps you could start a convoy in Norwich, pick up Olly and I at Wymondham and we can head to Hingham, then Mundford altogether?????? Olly / Barclayboy - Wymondham town centre at say 10.20? then Hingham 10.35?
