Software Development Engineer (Satellites)

Looking for engineers with experience of satellite on-board software development. We have various positions in Toulouse for 6 months to long term duration. The positions are either permanent or contract basis. EU Citizens only

Required profile:

- Essential: Recent experience of developing On-board software for satellites.

- Familiar with space standards applicable to satellite software design:
(Such as ECSS and CCSDS standards).

- Knows/developed on-board Real-time implementation, documentation and testing:

(Particular related to satellite on-board data handling, on-board computer, and/or on-board payload data processing subsystems and AOCS).

- Experience with embedded real time operating systems:

(Embedded processor architectures as used in space applications.)

- Familiar with relevant software development environments and tools:

(e.g. Eclipse based) and drivers for spacecraft control and data buses (SpaceWire, MilBus1553, etc., …).

- Developed in C, C++ and Java.

- Experience with UML

- Experience on object-oriented programming

- Background in software Validation & Verification.

- University degree or equivalent in computer science, aeronautics or electrical engineering in space industry.

- Fluency in English organisational and communication skills is mandatory &
French language skills are desirable.
