Folks,
Need some help! The GF wants to go away for her birthday, ideally south Ireland but wants to combine it with horse riding.

Can anyone recommend?

Any help appreciated

Failte Ireland is our Tourist Board, here's a link to them.

It would help if you had an idea how you were going to get here ( ferry/fly/drive ) and roughly what part of Ireland you want to visit. Down here in Cork/Kerry there are many activities involving horses.

Thanks for this! I'm going to price the ferry from Holyhead, if too expensive I'll fly into cork.

My folks have a house in Yaughal they rent out, you can pm me if you're interested and I'll get you the details, right on the sea and close to Cork.

Aer Lingus fly Manchester Cork using their turbo prop with Aer Arran , Ryanair fly from Birmingham, I think. Cork is a great place, good restaurants and close access to West Cork and Kerry. For car hire try argus car hire or any of the others.

Kinsale for Restaurants ( I like Man Fridays ) all need booking.

Also MTB Trail and hire.
