This came about on another thread but I thought it might be overlooked so have started a new one.

The plan is to get a few of us together for a drive out and compare the various models - manual vs PDK, R vs S etc.

Meet at the Cat & Fiddle pub at 10:00. We could head to Buxton, Whaley Bridge, across to the Snake and Holmforth etc

Then turn around and do it all again in the other direction.

Here is the proposed route.

Please let me know if you are interested, just me and Jontymo at the moment.

Assume there's not much traffic in the area mid-morning...

I should be up for this, or at least to meet at the cat for a chat; though no high speed runs for me, car still bedding in!

Would love to have come but a bit far for me, sadly!

It all depends on the weather. If it's sunny there will be plenty of tourists otherwise it should be OK. The other option would be to meet at 7 when the roads will be clear but I'm not getting up at 6 with a hangover on a Sunday morning for anyone.

Ah, fair enough. That's where we differ - I'd rather be up early to miss 'Sunday drivers'.

I might struggle to get to this one now as well; weather looks good but might be house hunting because I now need a garage for the CR biggrin

Bubbles, not sure if you are still up for this? for me if the weather stays like it is now then i think i will give it a miss.

I will be away for the next 4 weekends as in Norway in the cayman and then at the british GP so it may be a while but will post something when i get back, maybe a meal at somewhere like the ladybower on a thursday night or again try for a weekend meetup.

Cheers Jon

No problem, I'm still recovering from golf this morning. Would have been drier if I had jumped in a lake...!
I migh thave a run out tomorrow morning anyway as I need to have a blast in the car. I will pm you my mobile if you change your mind.

We shall definately have to re-organise this once we are all a bit more familiar with our cars etc; and can guarantee a better day weather wise. Went out in it today, hammered it down, so had to wash it (quickly - which I hate doing) when I got back. Four washes in a week, hmmmmm!
