Conveyancing charges?

We are buying our first BTL property and have just received the first quote for conveyancing from the agents solicitors, there will be no mortgage, so a straight forward bank transfer of funds, and a purchase price of a tad under 150k.
Quote is just over £1100, this is just fees, the stamp duty is on top of that, does this seem about right, or should i shop around or try haggling a bit, it's been a long time since I've dealt with house purchasing, so I might be a bit out of touch.
Might also add that the property is in Kent.
