1996 F1 world champion, Damon Hill could appear in the next series of ITV's hit show, "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!".

According to British newspaper, The People, Hill is one of a number of candidates being lined up for the new series, which will return in November in the UK.

Not really the mighty, as out of racing fan circles he's not that well known to Joe Public in the street. Hell I wouldn't recognise him at the moment, I can't remember if he's long hair & goatee, long hair no goatee, dyed grey hair black with grey goatee, dyed grey hair and dyed goatee...not to mention the side burns...............FFS Damon cut the goatee off and "get yer hair cut" !!!!!!!!!

Anyway they try to get a lot of "stars" on there who eventually turn it down and you get left mostly with the fill-in dregs of Kerry McFadden, Jordan, Peter Andre and that "snip snip" woman.

Maybe not mighty, but I couldn't think of a better title.

As for what he looks like, with my girlfriend being a big Michael Praed fan, there's no end of amusement to be had from pointing out how alike the two are.

I heard they were trying to get David Coulthard. Apparently he thinks he's good enough to win it this year.

Yes, but about a third of the way though he'll say that there have been a few setbacks, but that he is still in with a shout. Then half way through he'll say that he concedes that winning is now unrealistic and he is now concentrating on backing up his team-mate.

Damon might do it as it is a good fundraiser and he is heavily involved in Down's syndrome charities.

I still think Jacques' "I've bought two new white race suits and I'm all ready and waiting if Williams need me" beats this hands down...

With the long hair and beard he looks like a George Harrison tribute act.

A few *celebs* have done well out of the show and its all in the name of charidee so I'd suspect Damon would raise funds for the Down Syndrome Society

I'd have thought Damon was too busy running P1 (his 'executive' supercar club) and his BMW and Audi dealerships to do this, though the charity angle may sway him (one of his children has downs syndrome). If you want to know what he looks like now he's in 'Car' magazine this month comparing the 360CS and Ford GT.
