I should have seen this coming……
Discussion
Hi Guys,
You may remember I posted about wheel bearings being too small last week.
I should have also mentioned that at some time in the past my car had a 4-pot calliper upgrade.
Well, examination of the extracted wheel bearing reveals that it is from a 2wd Sierra Cosworth….So it looks as if the whole knuckle has been changed over to facilitate the brake upgrade.
The question is:
What else would have to have been changed to make this work?
Ball joints, track rods, hubs etc.
I am just trying to avoid any shocks when the next bit of suspension needs to be replaced.
I think the only knuckle it can be is 3d Sierra Cosworth (NOT Sapphire). Correct?
Looks like one bleed nipple on each calliper has been broken off already…Hear we go again.
Cheers
Jon
