Just thought I'd post some quick pics I took of my new exhaust that Jetstream created for me, slightly different to the last one they did in that I asked them for it to be able to allow for the higher power of a dual exhaust but keep the sound of a single one. Excellent quality and price!

I had the most boring drive ever down to see YellowShed in the traffic, then spent a few hours watching numbers on the screen and with my hands over my ears (outside around the wall to stop my ears bleeding so no video!) but taking a test drive down the A13 in the dark for the first time after... well what can I say.. what a difference! biggrin
M25/M4 driving home was a bit of a blur... biggrin
Dyno read 400bhp and 428lbft biggrin
I had .5 bar actuators fitted with the exhaust and have Pro Alloy IC and 044 pump too so am off to a nice start after keeping it standard for 4 years until I met the big power boys on the Ring/Spa trip! smile

Big thumbs up to Dave, Matt and Trevor (and Steve for his poor burnt hands!)!!

Video will follow when I get time, it is different sounding to anything I've heard before and the closest thing I can think of from inside is Matty's M3 CSL!

I presume since he said he wanted the sound of the "single exhaust" i.e. the full 6 cylinders in one silencer rather than splitting it into two 3 cyl exhausts. I guess this provides a different noise.

Inflict... Said this before, I love your vid but do you have one with you know... Less artiness and more noise? The current one is a bit lacking on content I can form an opinion with!

Cheers! biggrin

Hahaha. Too much art. Lol.

Basically I didnt have a decent mic or anything when I went out to shoot that... was just supposed to be a taster.
I'll try and get something filmed, even if its super ghetto so you can hear it better.

Alternatively pop over to hear it. West London.

Premiere CS5 to edit.
Eyeon Fusion for 2D camera tracking and positioning the titles in the carpark.
3D Studio Max for jetstream 3D animation and After Effects for the compositing at the end.

See, you should have used the age old technique of sticking a shoddy phone camera on the ground and revving it until it overloads the mic!

Now that's classy.

The exhaust is 1 box but 2 sections inside it. I'll ask Matt to explain the exact details as he mentioned something about perforated insides for the 1 box sound but keeping separation of the 2 sides as well. I know this won't give the power of a true dual exhaust but I don't plan on getting anywhere near that limit anyway.

I'll get some video/sound up online as soon as I can (bloody rain spoiling my fun) but it doesn't sound much like Inflicts to be honest, makes it sound like there's a bigger engine in there! biggrin

As for price, I'm not 100% sure yet as I've not had the bill! lol but I know it's less than all the others! biggrin

its probably two perforated tubes that sit in the same silencer box

the restriction imo is the y piece on the stock system
