Jobs sites

Evening all.

Does anyone know of any job sites that are worth a look at? I've seen Reed.co.uk, Monster and my local paper, but can't think of anymore. Googling brings up loads.

Also, I was looking at multi drop jobs, and a lot of them ask for experience, which I haven't got sadly. Is it worth applying anyway, or just not to bother?

If you upload your CV, remove details such as middle names, address, date of birth...

What kind of work are you looking for? this often dictates where to go. Sorry for the post but I don't know what a multi drop job is

Anything really, would like some kind of driving job ideally.

Multi drop is delivery driver, UPS, City Link etc.

As this is PH, I should have said "The Ladders" although as this is PH, you would be headhunted and not need to use a job search website.

From memory, Indeed scans many sources but your best bet is gumtree for driver jobs. You could also try your local job centre (dunno if you have to register as a job seeker?).

Having been on the receiving end of CVs submitted through web sites, I recommend you don't just spam it and fire the same CV to masses of jobs. I've had back hundreds of CVs for some jobs and the first thing I do is hunt for the handful that have made the effort to read the job description, put some meaningful covering text and a relevant CV. The rest go in the bin.

Since you know what you want, write a CV that's targetted to that and submit to those jobs only, with some carefully chosen covering words.

Also, there are lots of courier companies that subcontract and as such you could set yourself up with a van and work when the hours suit you.

I was thinking of something like that, however I can't afford to get a van at the moment. Plus I'm not sure if I would like the idea of not having constant work at the moment.

have you tried...think of a company you know does multi-drop work, call their HR dept (most likely their HO) and rather than ask for a job, request their help and ask them where they advertise their vacancies.
