Barry made a statement which he believed to be true...and other people disagreed with him...and then the challenge was put to him to disprove his original statement..which i believe was achieved..in between he put a thread about an advert which was misinterpreted and he ended up being called a bell end..lol.
so no arguments really, its all just a big misunderstanding..biggrin

These forums have been so entertaining since Barry turned up....;)

Great news though about the ever increasing demand on well maintained Nobles...

I'm the lucky one I don't need to wink but I will just so you don't feel left out...smile

Right, update with your video. I have no footage of the said outing that day. What i have done is ask David Basely at Jetstream to have a look behind the passenger seat in my car for the SD card & if he found it him or Matthew Walton were instructed to put whatever is on it on Youtube which they gladly would of no question.

Contacted Melindi Scott at Goldtrack to ask if any one had handed it in after the clean up in the garage at the Alluguard corporate day & contacted Darren Baker who organised their day's event.

It is also in my interest to have the SD card back in my possession as there is some outstanding footage of the Painfully slow Noble on track with the White Porsche Cup Racer which for 2 laps was semi epic... In addition to that mixing it with the Corse FF & 458 Ferarri. Which would have made the footage I have put up comparable to watching Emmerdale!

I have in fact got the footage at the end of the day when I took young lad out Aiden, if he want's a copy on disc that would be no promlem at all as there is some good stuff on there

If I remember rightly when we went out you immediately shot out & nearly colided into a blueish Porsche Clubsport track car which I was sat behind for quite sometime plus my tyres to come to temperature. Surely your not trying to use that outing to quantify the Phantom 20 seconds. Besides, it would be on your camera system surely especially the entrance on to track.

I'm have also given you the oppourtunity for a rematch to dispel the Phantom 20 seconds that you alledge, for British Heart foundation Charity which you have seemingly conveniently swerved a reply. But understand it could potentially cost you £7K to find out. I have already lined up one of the fellow 600 club Nobles who was more than happy to partake plus another I have yet to contact, not to mention the Waffe lad in Black 4.0. I'm looking at the Goldtrack day at Silverstone in September, Monday 10th.

My eldest son Luke (+3) who has been following this forum recently & kindly sifted through all the footage including yours, has pointed out your excuse that I illeagally took you through Woodcote bend but you failed to mention you undertook me through the loop bend & the RS. But to be honest couldn't care less. The point was more than proven why we were there...

In regards to Curries I'll give an oppourtunity to recoup your potential £7K Charity hit at Silverstone. We'll have a Curry eating competition afterwards double or nowt you can even sub contract that one out if neceesary to make it fair. I can't believe how generous & nice I am this lovely evening.

I look forward to your response on this occasion plus looking forward to contacting the British Heart Foundation that we are looking to further contribute to their tireless efforts to eradicate heart disease.

Good luck

I already sponsor the British heart foundation though the Hughmongous taxes that I pay and to play fair it would have to be a test and not track day so we don't get constantly slowed up.

On a open track no bulking we will be about 2.10 (ageing drivers) and maybe you could do 2.22-2.24, in the right hands the Juno will do about 2.05-2.06 even with its poultry 240BHP

Even I'm getting bored now let alone Mr Pockets poor chap. Your Crypton Factor Challenges are just toooooo complicated and you will only change the rules or loose the footage.

Are you telling me that you couldn't get past a 944 but flew past the Juno no problem, I reckon if you can remember the colour and model of the car that was in front when I came out the pits with you behind the you've either got a good memory or THE VIDEO

So the reason the Juno Fooked of was you couldn't get past a 944, surely you would have done him on the right whilst he weren't looking wink

In summary

You lost the Video wink
You remember the car that held you up, you've got tbe video wink
You had to warm up tyres, so do I wink
You couldn't pass a 944 smile
On a clearer track you couldn't catch the Juno like you could when in traffic wink

You can overtake on the Right wink
You complain if overtaken on the left wink

Oh Dear good fellow

judge Guilty as charged rofl

Barry..all that fighting talk about being faster and you are chickening out..

You said Juno 2:10 ... Noble 2.24 on a clear run... pure speculation, lets go on what you claimed happened on the day as its more in your favour wink

On the track day you were claiming 20 seconds faster over 4 laps...

Shaun is basing the wager on this 5 seconds a lap difference...you state that you can double/treble that gap to be 14 seconds a lap quicker without traffic...but yet traffic works for and against both of you!!!, you can get past a car and Shaun can get stuck and vice versa...time attack is different to a race..but from what you say Barry i do not see what you have to be scared of...its almost as if your scared of losing??...but that can not be... how can you lose if what you say is true..;)
