What's the reasoning behind food being provided on square slabs instead of plates? It feels as though you are eating straight off the table and it's difficult to keep crumbs under control, the staff don't seem to like it either.

Is it something to do with storage or dishwashing?

I dont know, i dont like them either. I mean how can you have peas or gravy on a slab. It will just roll/ooze of the plate.

It's a free country, folks can eat off whatever they want, but nonetheless some people need a slap.

There have been a few crackers posted on the photo of your dinner thread, might just as well have been posted on the 'knob' thread hehe
