Stella Bar / Tertre Rouge bar

Anyone know the latest on this? We last went to LM in 2010 but due to staying down in Karting Nord didn't make it up to the bar. I understand there was to be a change of ownership / possible closure (?) post 2010 race - was it open last year? Any info on this year?
We're camping at Garage Vert this year so walking/stumbling distance to the bar, if its open!!

Yes it was there last year. I think the guy makes so much money over the week that he spends the other 51 weeks of the year in the Bahamas.
We watched the Canadian GP there last year. The two hour rain delay didn't do our livers any good, but it was a fantastic atmosphere in there watching Jenson come through he pack.
I also seem to recall a couple of rough strippers in there the year before at around 2 in the morning. Unless they were a couple of Dutch chaps in drag. It's all quite foggy to be honest....

What do you mean rough, they were bloody stunning ... Oh that may have been my beer goggles. Let's hope they make an appearance this year for old times sake. We were there last year too. I'm not 100% sure that the expensive Stella was Stella '5' as we were drinking it for hours then went on to the expensive/cheap red wine and didn't feel that bad at all when wandering back. Luckily the atmosphere and surroundings definately makes up for it though!
Hoping to watch one of the Sunday night final group football games in there this year. Either Portugal v Holland or Denmark v Germany both kick off 20.45. Either game should be good and plenty of Dutch and Danes about to create a good atmosphere!
